So many divers have learned to dive with us, and joined us on our Saturday and Sunday dives, we decided it was high time to let them meet regularly and organise all sorts of diving events and sessions - both wet and dry.
That's not all - membership of ASA brings numerous other benefits in terms of discounts, trips and holidays.
The Old Ship Inn across the road from Andark provides the all-important social venue for us too.
What’s it all about?
If you are interested in midweek and weekend dives, UK trips and exciting warm water holidays as well as social events for divers and non diving partners, why not join the Andark Scuba Adventurers (ASA).
The club is independent from any agency (BSAC, PADI etc) and is run by Andark. We welcome any diver of any level and their families.
To get the most out of the club, members are encouraged to get involved with the planning, organising and implementation of the dives and events which will teach you new skills and help enhance the fun of the diving experience.
The full calendar is planned with the members giving every one a chance to discuss the options and put their own ideas and interests forward.
The meetings are held on the third Friday of each month and start at Andark at 7.15 pm (unless otherwise stated). Meetings are typically in the form of a presentation and/or pool session followed by a social in The Old Ship Inn across the road around 9pm. See meetings for further details.
We have a RIB available for club use. This will be used for midweek and weekend dives and in the summer for weekend club trips to places like Lulworth Cove, Bridport and Plymouth. Boat fees will be kept to a minimum; these fees will depend on distance to the launching site, launching fees and distance to dive site (fuel, etc).
What Benefits do I get out of the club?

- Club boat

The dives will be inshore South Coast sites including wrecks, drift and reef dives. We aim to cater for the various qualification levels. Scheduled dives will be published in with the normal courses dates and will be on a first come first served basis. More dives and trips will be planed during the meetings where members will plan organise and run the dives under Andark's supervision.
