Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries

This advanced-level program is designed to train existing DAN Oxygen Providers to use the MTV-100 or a Bag Valve Mask while providing care for a non-breathing injured diver.

Prerequisite qualifying courses

• DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
• CPR - Current CPR is recommended
• Divers and non-divers welcome

Minimum age

• NONE

What the course covers

• Use of the Manual Triggered Ventilator (MTV, also known as Resuscitation valve).
• Use of the Bag Valve Mask (BVM).

Use of normal scuba gear appropriate for the circumstances.

• Log book: from £5.95
• Proof of qualification and experience, (log book and cards), must be provided on day one of the course
