PADI Underwater Navigator

When you're underwater, knowing where you are and where you're going comes in handy, especially if you're looking for that beautiful reef that you've heard all about. The PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course will help you become a pro at finding your way underwater.

Pre-requisite qualifying courses

• PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)

Minimum age:

• 10 years

What the course covers

• During your PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course, you'll learn underwater navigation dive procedures, techniques, planning, organization and potential problems.
• You'll also be introduced to natural navigation, underwater patterns, distance estimation and further your compass navigation skills. You'll put these into practice during your three open water dives.
• The two day course includes three open water dives.

What it will cost, and what you'll need

• Course Fee: £150.00
• Manual: £15.00 (reduced from £16.95 if bought alongside the course)
• Site entrance fee: There is an entrance fee for open water dives requiring entry to an inland site, payable daily by the student. Current fees: Horsea Island: £10.00, Stoney Cove £15.00.
• Mask, Snorkel, Boots and Fins (Gloves are also recommended for the winter months). Student discounts available on all these items in the Andark shop.
• Medical Declaration (details on Course Booking and Payment page)
• Proof of qualification and experience, (log book and cards), must be provided on day one of the course.
• Children under 12 MUST attend a video evening with a parent or guardian before attending a PADI course - £15.00

All courses run from 9am to 5:30pm (approximately) and a minimum of 3 people is required for a course to run, unless otherwise stated.

3. Download and complete the medical declaration form, and return to us by post.
